NFL Betting Odds For Offensive Player Of the Year

With the NFL 2022 regular season more than officially through the halfway point, it is never too early to be thinking about award winners for this year. The Offensive Player Of the Year in the NFL has a lot of potential candidates for it this season as well.

Cooper Kupp, wide receiver of the Los Angeles Rams, won the award last season. It will be interesting to see who is nominated as the finalist once this season ends. The NFL odds for this award are out. Who are the favorites to win the NFL Offensive Player Of the Year Award?

Jalen Hurts, Quarterback, Philadelphia Eagles +300

Jalen Hurts, the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, has the best odds to win the award this season at +300 on BETUS. Hurts has Philadelphia undefeated, and he has gotten better in every single season throughout his NFL career. The reason why he is at the top of this list is that he makes this Philadelphia Eagles offense go.

Philadelphia is explosive offensively. They run the football well with Hurts and Miles Sanders, the starting running back for the Eagles, on RPO (run-pass option). A.J. Brown, the wide receiver they acquired via trade from the Tennessee Titans this past offseason, has been one of the best receivers in the league, helping out his quarterback.

Devonta Smith is also a force to be reckoned with. Jalen Hurts winning the Offensive Player Of the Year Award wouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. He probably won’t beat out either Josh Allen, quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, or Patrick Mahomes II, quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, for the MVP Award. Jalen Hurts will go over 3000-4000 passing yards and account for 35 total touchdowns.

Tyreek Hill, Wide Receiver, Miami Dolphins +300

Tyreek Hill, the starting wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, also has the best odds of winning the Offensive Player Of the Year Award as well at +300 odds. Hill is one of the fastest wide receivers in the entire league. Many questioned if his production would drop big time because he left quarterback Patrick Mahomes to Tua Tagovailoa.

The truth of the matter is it doesn’t matter. Tyreek Hill can catch anything from any quarterback. Hill could potentially go over 1500 yards receiving and ten touchdowns this season. He has the Miami Dolphins thinking of playoffs this season because of his offense. Don’t get me wrong; they need Tua Tagovailoa. However, the jump of his play doesn’t happen without Tyreek Hill in this offense.

Tua had Jaylen Waddle in this offense last season, but he wasn’t as effective. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are two of the top 10 wide receivers in the NFL. Vegas NFL odds have the Miami Dolphins at an excellent chance to make the NFL playoffs this year.

Justin Jefferson, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings +1000

Justin Jefferson, the starting wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, has the second-best odds to win the Offensive Player Of the Year Award at +1000 odds. Jefferson is one of the primary sources of Minnesota’s offense. He is by far their best wide receiver and is also one of the top wide receivers in the entire NFL as well.

Jefferson is quickly going to go over 1000 yards receiving this season and will probably have somewhere between 10-15 touchdowns. Kirk Cousins, the Minnesota Vikings’ starting quarterback, has been finding him quite a bit so far this season. Adam Thielen and K.J. Osborn are not as good at the wide receiver position on the Vikings. There’s a reason why the Vikings traded for tight end T.J. Hockenson from the Detroit Lions at the NFL trade deadline.

Minnesota felt like they didn’t have enough offensive firepower besides Justin Jefferson. The NFL lines have the Minnesota Vikings as favorites to win the NFC North this season because of Justin Jefferson’s play game in and game out.

Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Baltimore Ravens +1000

Lamar Jackson, starting quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens, also has the second-best odds to win the Offensive Player Of the Year Award at +1000 odds. He has the Baltimore Ravens in a prime position to win the AFC North. Tight end Mark Andrews is his top guy, but they don’t have wide receiver Rashod Bateman due to injury.
